Research PublicationsEffrosyni Tsakou is a scholar of Classical Philology whose research focuses on Ancient Greek literature, gender studies, rhetoric, and cultural history. Her work investigates how women are represented within ancient literary traditions, particularly through fictional epistolary texts of the Imperial period.
She completed her PhD in Classical Literature at the University of Lille, earning the prestigious European Doctorate Label. Her interdisciplinary research combines literary criticism, philology, anthropology and gender studies to provide new perspectives on identity and female agency in antiquity.
